Unique Installation: What’s different about APC Barriers?

APC Barrier’s unique installation system means that every part of the process is quicker: installation, relocation and removal. We’ll get you 1200LM installed in one shift!

We secure the barriers together using an integrated JJ hook, they’re not pinned to the ground surface. You’ll need up to 50% fewer operatives because we don’t use secondary connectors. This is ideal if your project involves viaducts, bridges or new road surfaces. APC concrete barriers are also quicker to relocate – up to 500LM per hour. And you don’t have to allow time for plugging drill holes, there aren’t any.

We use specialised machinery that positions the barriers in a single lift, rotating and tilting to the perfect level. We use cutting edge hydraulic lifting equipment, rather than the traditional mechanical grabs and lifting chains. Not only is this more time efficiency, it significantly reduces the risk of lift-related safety incidents. Your crew no longer need to work at height, offloading barriers from HGVs. You get additional safeguards for your whole site team and the public.

We’ve been involved with numerous high profile projects with traffic management companies and major contractors, each with their own specific requirements. Our large range of concrete barrier systems means that you just need to explain your problem and we’ll find the solution.

Delivery

You want to make one call and know that everything will arrive on site on time – without having to chase anything. There’s no point having a load of concrete barriers turn up without the machinery and people to install them.

Our experience working within the construction, civil engineering and plant hire industries means that we’ve built a broad delivery capability. This goes beyond our expertise in concrete barriers to include general haulage, low-loader for plant and equipment, and flat-bed transport with or without a Moffett forklift.
