Oneway Traffic Management Case Study

Our Work

We knew that Delta Block sb70 was the right barrier for the job. Our new skinny barrier grab came with us for its first outing and was a brilliant addition to the APC team.

We improved workplace safety by using the skinny grab to get all the securing timbers off the top of the barriers. They’re a great idea to keep the load balanced and secure when we’re moving – but usually involve a lot of risky climbing to remove them on arrival.

The skinny grab can do this job from now on!

“It’s not just this job, we’ve done a few with Shane. He’s just easy to work with. To be honest with you, he’s the only person I know that can do it like he does it.

What’s the best thing about working with APC? What value do they bring?

Speed. Safety. They’re good at what they do. Very professional. Just good people all round. Reliable. And obviously in our job, we get stuff in at the last minute, we get emergency things that come in late, and he’s never let us down. He’s always managed to sort som’at out for us.

He’s got a big variety of barriers to suit all types of situations. He’s got big barriers, small barriers. You’ll get other people what’ll do the same thing, but they’ll only do certain types.

Whereas Shane can get you anything – he’s got his own stuff, but he can get stuff from elsewhere as well.  As long is it’s some type of barrier, he’ll be able to get you it and install it.

And how he installs is different to everyone else. The machinery that he uses allows him to do it faster and more accurately. So he can put more down than anyone else. Sometimes we need it out fast and he can do that.

He’s the actual face of the business and he’s there doing it as well. So you know it’s gonna go right.”

James Jeavons, Contracts Manager for Oneway Traffic Management, is very happy with his ongoing relationship with APC.

All 400m of barrier were delivered and installed through the night, maintaining the productivity of their overall project.
