APC’S BARRIERS TO HELP WITH BOOSTING ECONOMIC GROWTH IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE

SEE HOW APC HAVE HELPED ON A MAJOR INVESTMENT PROJECT IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE

Infrastructure works have started on a £205m project to build a huge village in part of Nottinghamshire. The Top Wighay Farm development, off the A611 near Linby, will include 800 homes when it is complete and will create around 1,000 jobs.

The site is currently open fields but work has started by main contractor, Balfour Beatty, to build two new junctions to access the site. Additional road improvements include the expansion of a roundabout on the A611/Annesley Road and as well as a new, three-metre wide, shared use footway/cycle lane along the northern side of the A611 north of Hucknall and to the west of Linby.

APC have been contracted by traffic management specialist, Amberon TM to supply 1000 metres of concrete barrier to protect site works from the busy traffic on A611 and provide traffic calming measures along the stretch of works.
